OPTICAL ASSEMBLY
A protected film.
A rotating frame.

Polarizing film protected by PET sits inside an ABS frame. The inner ring rotates to change the film's orientation.
ALIGN / ROTATE / OBSERVE
Find the orientation.
Watch the reflection.
-
01ALIGN
Position the clear opening in the camera's view of the subject.
-
02ROTATE
Turn the inner ring while watching the live camera image.
-
03OBSERVE
Compare reflections and adjust the camera, subject or filter angle as needed.
FREESTANDING FORMAT
Seat the frame.
Keep the view clear.

The frame slots into its base for tabletop positioning. The camera must view the subject through the polarizing film for the described camera-path use; simply standing it beside the scene will not filter that view.
A clear aperture.
A tabletop base.

The frame, clear opening and base are identified separately in the supplied assembly diagram.
